About the role

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join the Hiessence Consumer Goods Trading team in our Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. As a Sales Associate, you will be at the heart of our retail operations, directly contributing to our company's success by engaging with customers, promoting our products, and creating memorable shopping experiences. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the consumer goods retail sector.

What you'll be doing

• Assist customers visiting the Hiessence pop-up kiosk and provide personalized product recommendations
• Introduce and demonstrate Hiessence aromatic diffusers, fragrance oils, and related products.
• Greet customers warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service and product assistance to encourage purchases
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, card payments and other payment methods with precision
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product range, features and benefits to effectively advise customers and answer product-related enquiries
• Stock and replenish shelves and display areas throughout the store, ensuring products are well-organised, clearly labelled and visually appealing
• Support the store team in achieving sales targets and promotional objectives during peak trading seasons
• Maintain store cleanliness and tidiness, including fitting rooms, shelves and customer areas
• Assist with visual merchandising and the setup of seasonal displays and promotional materials
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary
• Comply with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; retail or customer service certification is advantageous
• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles, ideally within the consumer goods sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customer groups
• Strong numeracy skills and accuracy in handling cash and processing transactions
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required by retail operations
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift products safely
• Enthusiasm for retail, genuine passion for customer satisfaction and a positive attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Attention to detail, reliability and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and service
