Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, managing inventory, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising techniques.
• Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Maintain phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail store environments is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering procedures is essential.
• Experience in merchandising and stocking practices is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling products and enhancing customer satisfaction is highly valued.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
