Sales Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Research and identify high-potential industrial companies that consume Aluminium Flat Rolled Products.
• Independently approach decision makers through calls, email, LinkedIn and customer visits.
• Qualify leads based on product fit, volume potential, location, current supplier, decision maker and purchase timeline.
• Understand customer requirements including alloy, thickness, size, application, volume and current sourcing.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and enquiry generation through quotation, negotiation and order closure.
• Build long-term customer relationships and develop repeat and additional business.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, quotation and follow-up information in the CRM.
• Achieve sales and customer acquisition targets while developing strong market knowledge.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B, industrial, technical or business development sales.
• Proven ability to independently acquire and close new customers.
• Experience in aluminium, steel, metals, engineering, industrial or building materials is preferred.
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to research companies and identify relevant decision makers independently.
• Comfortable discussing commercial, technical and product requirements with customers.
• Graduate preferred; strong ownership and self-driven approach essential.
