Join our dynamic team as a Sales Associate and become the friendly face that welcomes customers, guides them through their shopping experience, and helps them find exactly what they need. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital part in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an inviting store atmosphere. Open availability is needed. Must work weekends. Our store hours are 10am-7pm. After Black Friday hours will be extended to 10am-8pm. Shifts include 9:45am-2pm and 2-6:30-7pm (2-8:30pm during holidays).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
• Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest and upselling opportunities
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance
• Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal
• Stock shelves and manage inventory levels through regular stocking and merchandising activities
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Assist with basic retail math tasks such as calculating totals, discounts, and change accurately
• Support team members as needed, fostering a collaborative environment
• Uphold store policies related to cash handling, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards.

Experience

• Prior retail sales experience is desirable but not required.
• Demonstrating leadership capabilities in team settings is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and stock management practices
• Basic math skills necessary for retail transactions and inventory calculations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
