Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, providing knowledgeable advice on retail items and financial services.
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and 10-key typing systems, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and cash management.
• Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options, assisting with loan processing, and collecting payments or overdue balances through loan collections procedures.
• Maintain precise records of sales, data entry of customer information, and processing of financial transactions using retail software systems.
• Handle customer inquiries related to banking products, retail services, or store policies with professionalism and clarity.
• Assist in inventory management by organizing stock, conducting stock counts, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Uphold store standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies to create a welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred; familiarity with retail store operations is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, balancing registers, and performing retail math calculations.
• Experience with banking or financial services including loan processing or collections is advantageous.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of financial software applications or point-of-sale systems is desirable; willingness to learn new technologies.

Pay: $23.13 - $27.86 per hour
