Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
• Process cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and processing cash payments
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting products, explaining features, and upselling when appropriate
• Handle data entry tasks efficiently using retail software and maintain accurate transaction records
• Assist with retail lending activities such as loan processing and collections to support customer financial needs
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displays are appealing
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, or promotions to ensure accuracy in all sales activities

Qualifications

• Prior retail store experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with customer service and sales processes
• Strong cash handling skills including cash drawer management and processing cash transactions
• Basic math proficiency for daily calculations involving sales totals, discounts, and financial data entry
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Experience with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
• Knowledge of retail math concepts such as calculating totals, change, and discounts is advantageous

Pay: $23.50 - $27.25 per hour
