Sales Associate

Overview

Authorized LEGO retailer. We buy, sell, & trade of LEGO products as well as 3rd party products.
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a passion for LEGO, and the ability to create a welcoming shopping environment. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales through upselling and merchandising while providing exceptional service to our diverse clientele.

Flexible scheduling Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties
• Educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise
• Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales opportunities
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organizing the sales floor
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Support supervising staff in training new team members and maintaining store standards
• Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times
• Host Events

Experience

• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette
• Prior experience in retail sales is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively
• Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team
• Previous experience in merchandising, stocking, or cashiering roles will support success in this position

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
