Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs to enhance their experience
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software
• Handle cash drawer management, including balancing at the start and end of shifts
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting products and upselling when appropriate
• Maintain knowledge of store inventory, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information
• Conduct data entry for sales records, customer information, and transaction details
• Assist with loan processing and collections for retail lending or financial services products when applicable

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, balancing registers, and retail math calculations
• Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently using 10 key typing skills
• Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work flexible hours

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
