Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, a strong understanding of retail sales, and the ability to effectively promote products. Duties

• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations
• Operate POS systems for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits to customers
• Upsell additional products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
• Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stock rotation
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or follow-ups
• Supervise or assist with supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations
• Support in executing promotional campaigns and seasonal merchandising strategies

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math skills
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Proven ability to upsell products and enhance customer shopping experience
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
