Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their shopping needs.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for checkout, returns, and exchanges while handling cash and card transactions accurately.
• Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure attractive displays and optimal product availability.
• Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures and perform basic retail math for transactions.
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment, inventory counts, and organization of merchandise.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person.

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent phone etiquette coupled with strong communication skills for engaging with customers remotely or in-store.
• Skilled in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance without compromising customer satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to pricing, discounts, and cash transactions.
• Customer service expertise with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters trust and loyalty.
