Sales Associate

Job Summary:

Duties:

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including stocking shelves and rotating products.
• Utilize strong retail math skills to accurately handle cash register transactions, manage inventory, and process returns.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services, and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase loyalty and drive repeat business.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including resolving issues and answering questions in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with coworkers to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Proficiency in basic math is essential for this role.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

• Industrial sales experience is a plus

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
• Ability to stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store.
• Strong knowledge of retail sales and store operations.
• Proficiency in basic math and cash register procedures.
• Skill in upselling and cross-selling relevant products.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.

PAY WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
