Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs.
• Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features, benefits, and pricing.
• Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures.
• Support customers with basic banking inquiries, such as account questions or loan processing.
• Maintain knowledge of retail math principles to ensure correct pricing and discounts.
• Handle cash register operations efficiently, including 10 key typing and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing displays to maximize sales potential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
• Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers confidently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the store, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Attention to detail in processing transactions accurately and maintaining organized work areas.
