Duties

• Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
• Assist customers with product selection, explaining features and benefits to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software, including handling cash drawers and performing 10-key typing tasks
• Manage retail lending activities such as loan processing and collections to support customer financial needs
• Maintain accurate data entry records for sales, transactions, and customer information ensuring data integrity
• Handle cash management responsibilities including processing cash transactions, balancing registers, and ensuring secure cash handling procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or retail store experience preferred; familiarity with banking or financial services is a plus
• Strong basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and financial calculations
• Experience with data entry, cash drawer handling, and cash management systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Knowledge of retail lending processes such as loan processing and collections is advantageous
• Ability to operate financial software efficiently and accurately perform 10-key typing tasks
• Demonstrated reliability in cash handling, cashiering, and processing cash transactions in a fast-paced environment
