Sales Associate

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sales Associate who loves candy! This is a Part-Time position with a flexible schedule. Weekdays AND weekends. Familiar with Square, friendly , responsible , outgoing and motivated to SELL! Retail Experience is a MUST!

Responsibilities

• Chat with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and processing of payments.
• Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and inventory to assist customers effectively.
• Keep the sales floor organized and visually appealing by restocking shelves and maintaining cleanliness.
• Greet customers with a smile and make it known that you are available to answer any questions, and offer help
• Minor gift wrapping
• Unpacking shipments, labeling merchandise and restocking
• Open and close store, sweep, clean, restock, stamp bags, etc
• MUST BE RESPONSIBLE

Skills

• Proven ability to sell products and services effectively in a retail environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
• Previous experience in retail sales
• Outgoing and able to chat with customers is VERY important
• Ability to prioritize and balance the customers needs, the cleanliness of the store and keeping an organized workspace

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
