Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs
• Promote retail products, financial services, and retail lending options to maximize sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and managing the cash drawer
• Perform data entry tasks related to sales and customer information.
• Maintain the cash register’s accuracy through diligent cash handling and cash management procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or retail store environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with gifts, home decor and fashion enhances your ability to assist customers effectively
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions, balancing cash drawers, and processing payments
• Experience with data entry and using point-of-sale software is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to perform multiple tasks such simultaneously
• Basic understanding of retail procedures
