Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that match their needs
• Handle cash transactions accurately by processing cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment using cash drawers and POS systems
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and financial transactions through data entry and cash management procedures
• Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options, collecting necessary documentation, and assisting with loan processing or collections when needed
• Ensure the store remains organized by restocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and performing retail math calculations for pricing and discounts
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Assist with cashiering duties including 10 key typing, balancing cash drawers at shift end, and processing cash transactions efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or retail store environments with a focus on customer service excellence
• Familiarity with banking or financial services processes such as loan collections and loan processing
• Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and financial software operations
• Ability to perform data entry accurately using 10 key typing skills and manage cash drawer handling smoothly
• Excellent communication skills to engage customers effectively and explain financial or product options clearly
• Knowledge of retail lending practices, cash handling procedures, and cashiering operations
• Experience with retail store tasks such as inventory management, cash management systems, and point-of-sale (POS) software
