Sales Associate

Hiessence Consumer Goods Trading is seeking a Sales Associate to join our retail team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our fast-paced retail environment during our peak trading season in SM City Cebu and SM Seaside Cebu. In this role, you will be the frontline representative of our brand, delivering outstanding customer service whilst efficiently processing transactions and maintaining our store presentation to the highest standards. The Sales Associate position is crucial to our retail operations, as you will directly contribute to driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring our store runs smoothly during our busiest trading periods.

What you'll be doing

• Assist customers visiting the Hiessence pop-up kiosk and provide personalized product recommendations
• Introduce and demonstrate Hiessence aromatic diffusers, fragrance oils, and related products.
• Greet customers warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service and product assistance to encourage purchases
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, card payments and other payment methods with precision
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product range, features and benefits to effectively advise customers and answer product-related enquiries
• Stock and replenish shelves and display areas throughout the store, ensuring products are well-organised, clearly labelled and visually appealing
• Support the store team in achieving sales targets and promotional objectives during peak trading seasons
• Maintain store cleanliness and tidiness, including fitting rooms, shelves and customer areas
• Assist with visual merchandising and the setup of seasonal displays and promotional materials
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary
• Comply with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with sales environments and customer interactions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
• Numeracy skills and accuracy in handling cash and processing transactions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, remaining calm under pressure during peak trading periods
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting and stocking duties as required
• Reliability and flexibility, with availability to work retail hours including weekends and evenings during the seasonal period
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining store presentation standards
• Enthusiasm for retail and consumer products, with a genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous
• Experience in fragrance or luxury industry is a huge advantage
