Sales Associate

Spectrum Component Supply Corp is a family-owned electronic components distributor, based in Holbrook since 1986. We source semiconductors and hard-to-find parts for manufacturers across the US and Mexico, and business is strong. We're looking for someone to help us grow it.

This is a cold calling job. You will spend multiple hours a day on the phone reaching out to purchasing managers and buyers at manufacturing companies. There is no book of business waiting for you. You will build your own pipeline from scratch, and your commission grows with it.

What you'll do

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to new prospects every day
• Find the right contacts at target companies and book conversations
• Follow up consistently and keep your leads organized
• Log every call and every contact in our CRM
• Learn the electronic components business from people who have been in it for decades

What we're looking for

• A self-starter who doesn't need to be pushed to pick up the phone
• Someone organized who follows up without being reminded
• Comfortable talking to strangers and hearing no
• Recent graduates welcome. No industry experience required.
• Business, marketing or sales background is a plus

What you get

• $50,000 base salary
• Commission on every sale, with real earning potential well above base
