Car Wash Sales Associate — $16/Hour + Commission

Flexible Schedule | On-Site | Sales-Focused Position

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, results-driven Sales Associate to help grow our express car wash business!

This is a sales-focused role for someone who enjoys talking to customers, closing sales, building memberships, and earning commission based on performance. We want a confident salesperson with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a genuine interest in a long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Sell our premium wash packages, including Indy 500 and Hall of Fame.
• Promote monthly memberships, 3-month and 6-month plans, annual memberships, wash books, and gift cards.
• Sell service add-ons, including Mud Removal, Bug Buster, and Extra Bug Buster.
• Learn our products, explain their value, overcome objections, and confidently close sales.
• Work toward membership growth and weekly premium wash sales targets.
• Encourage customers to leave honest Google reviews by delivering excellent service.
• Wash, dry, fold, and restock towels; collect dirty towels when possible.
• Refill Windex bottles and help keep the parking lot and customer areas clean.
• Communicate with team members and take initiative to ensure daily tasks are completed.

Pay & Commission

$16 per hour plus commission:

• Indy 500 washes: 5%
• Hall of Fame washes: 2%
• Service add-ons: 4%
• Wash books and gift cards: 5%
• 3-month, 6-month, and annual plans: 5%
• Monthly memberships: 5%, 10%, or 15%, depending on sales volume.

Our monthly membership commission tiers reward higher sales volume, giving motivated employees an opportunity to increase their earnings.

Monthly Membership Commission — Weekly Performance Tiers

Earn a higher commission rate as you increase your weekly monthly membership sales!

• 1–6 memberships sold per week: 5% commission on all monthly memberships sold that week.
• 7–19 memberships sold per week: 10% commission on all monthly memberships sold that week.
• 20 or more memberships sold per week: 15% commission on all monthly memberships sold that week.

How it works: Your commission tier is based on the total number of monthly memberships you sell during the weekly payroll period. Once payroll closes on Saturday, your weekly sales count resets for the next period.

Your qualifying commission rate applies to every monthly membership sold during that week. The more you sell, the higher your commission rate — creating a real opportunity to increase your earnings through strong performance.
