About the Role

Imported Cars Limited is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our automotive sales team. The successful candidate will assist customers with vehicle enquiries, provide information about available vehicles, support the sales process and help maintain a professional and welcoming dealership environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers visiting the dealership and assist them with enquiries regarding available vehicles.
• Understand customers' vehicle preferences, budgets and requirements and recommend suitable vehicles from the available stock.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding vehicle features, specifications, pricing, mileage and condition.
• Assist customers in viewing vehicles and arrange test drives in accordance with company procedures.
• Explain available vehicle options, accessories, warranties and other dealership services to prospective customers.
• Respond to customer enquiries received through telephone calls, emails, online platforms and in-person visits.
• Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, sales agreements and other relevant sales documentation.
• Follow up with prospective customers regarding vehicle enquiries, appointments and purchasing decisions.
• Support negotiations and the completion of vehicle sales under the guidance of senior sales staff or management.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales enquiries and follow-up information using company systems.
• Assist with updating vehicle listings, advertisements, photographs and descriptions on online sales platforms.
• Ensure vehicles are presented in a clean, tidy and professional manner for customer inspections and viewings.
• Monitor the presentation of vehicles in the dealership and assist with arranging vehicle displays.
• Coordinate with other team members regarding vehicle availability, preparation and delivery arrangements.
• Assist customers with general information about vehicle registration, ownership transfer and delivery procedures.
• Support the sales team in achieving dealership sales targets and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and refer complex enquiries or complaints to management when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming showroom and customer reception area.
• Follow company policies, customer service standards and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Perform other sales-related and customer service duties as reasonably required by management.
