Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail sales, with the ability to engage customers and drive sales through effective communication and product knowledge. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while maintaining the store's visual appeal.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately.
• Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling processes effectively.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Foster a positive shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as it enhances customer interaction.
• Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience with merchandising and stocking practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with product demos and upselling techniques is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
