Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features and benefits
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Manage retail math tasks such as calculating discounts, totals, and change with precision
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to ensure an inviting shopping environment
• Support retail lending activities by understanding basic financial services and loan processing procedures when applicable
• Handle data entry tasks related to sales records, inventory updates, and customer information with attention to detail
• Assist in loan collections or follow-up on pending transactions as needed to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements

• Previous retail store experience demonstrating strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques and cash drawer handling procedures
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Ability to perform 10 key typing quickly and accurately for data entry tasks
• Excellent communication skills to engage customers positively and professionally
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with retail lending, loan processing, or cash management is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
