Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Lead Associate to join our team at a Country Western store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, western attire, being self-sufficient and a passion for retail sales.

This position would be Part/time with the possibility of moving to Full time, must be able to work mornings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and balancing the register at the end of shifts.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively sell to customers.
• Restock shelves and ensure that merchandise is displayed neatly and attractively.
• Enter in new product and conduct inventory counts
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance on customer service best practices.
• Perform basic math calculations to assist customers with product pricing and discounts.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and enhance overall customer experience.
• Keep the store/backroom clean and organized

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales (6+ months)
• Availability Monday-Sunday
• Know how to close sales and have some knowledge of western attire
• Self sufficiency
• Strong basic math skills to handle transactions and provide accurate change.
• Familiarity with cash registers, Square POS systems, and retail math is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift stock as needed.
• A commitment to always providing outstanding customer service.
• Dress in western attire
