Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and reliable Sales Associates (Budtenders) to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is customer-service focused, passionate about cannabis, eager to learn, and ready to represent our brand with professionalism and care. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while promoting our products and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Duties

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about products.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively communicate with customers.
• Organize merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing backroom inventory.
• Provide support in supervising junior staff members when necessary.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Experience in retail sales preferred; familiarity with grocery store environments is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
• Ability to conduct engaging product demos that attract customer interest.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a wider customer base.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Attention to detail in maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:

• 21+ years of age (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred
• Cannabis knowledge and/or experience is a strong plus
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
