Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, providing knowledgeable guidance on merchandise and services.
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management systems, including handling cash drawers and performing cash handling duties.
• Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products, assisting with loan processing, and collecting payments or loan repayments as needed.
• Maintain precise data entry records for sales transactions, customer information, and financial software updates.
• Manage retail math tasks such as calculating totals, discounts, and change to ensure accuracy during transactions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Support loan collections efforts by following established procedures to follow up on overdue accounts or payments.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales or retail store environments is highly preferred.
• Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately and managing cash drawers effectively.
• Familiarity with financial software systems or point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience in banking or financial services adds value to understanding retail lending processes.
• Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently using 10 key typing techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling and cash management duties.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
