Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that suit their needs
• Engage customers through active sales techniques, promoting retail products and financial services offerings
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and balancing the cash drawer at shift end
• Maintain knowledge of store inventory, pricing, and promotions to provide informed assistance
• Perform data entry tasks related to sales transactions, customer accounts, and loan processing when applicable
• Support loan collections efforts by following established procedures for overdue accounts
• Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with banking or financial services is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing registers
• Experience with data entry and using financial software or point-of-sale systems
• Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for processing transactions and record keeping
• Knowledge of retail store operations, including cash drawer handling, cash management, and cashiering procedures
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
