Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and friendly Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, helping customers find the products they need and providing outstanding service that keeps them coming back. The ideal candidate is motivated, personable, and eager to learn about retail sales, financial services, and customer support. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs.
• Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management systems, including handling cash drawers and performing 10 key typing tasks.
• Provide information about retail products, financial services, or loan options, explaining features clearly and confidently.
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting store promotions, upselling products, and encouraging customer engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
• Assist with data entry tasks related to customer accounts, loan processing, or inventory management using relevant financial software.
• Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally, including loan collections or other service-related issues.

Qualifications

• Previous retail store experience is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Knowledge of banking or financial services concepts is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to supporting store operations and sales goals.
• Must be over 21 years old and a resident of the United States or have a permit to work.
