Sales Associate

• Key responsibilities include:
• Greet and engage with customers, making them feel welcome in the store
• Answer customer questions, phone calls, texts, emails
• Use our social media for creating content and responding to customers.
• Present, promote and sell products and services
• Check customers out with their purchases, fulfill web orders, and ship merchandise
• Maintain cleanliness of the showroom, products, and restock inventory
• Ensure adequate stock of packaging supplies (bows, boxes, bags)
• Learn and use equipment; jewelers’ loupe, ring sizers, gemstone & diamond testers, ultrasonic cleaner, steamer, and engraving machines
• Learn proper maintenance of jewelry, advising customers when repairs are needed
• Accurately take in customer repair jobs and arrange customer pickups
• Complete store opening/closing duties
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess

• Ability to be at work on time, detail oriented
• Great listening and communication skills; able to explain repairs and quotes clearly
• Understanding of social media platforms, posting, replying
• Honesty and care when handling small, delicate, high-value items
• Computer skills (Email, Word, Excel) and willingness to learn our systems
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check

Pay & Benefits

• $17 per hour + 5% commission
• Full time, with paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, paternity leave

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
