Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store. Your role will be crucial in driving sales and creating a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to effectively sell items to customers.
• Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays to enhance store presentation.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support during shifts.
• Utilize POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions and manage inventory levels.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Uphold store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
