Responsibilities

• Handle cash drawer operations, ensuring proper cash management and reconciliation at the end of each shift
• Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products and guiding customers through loan applications or collections when necessary
• Maintain precise data entry records for sales, cash transactions, and customer information using financial software systems
• Conduct basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, or balancing registers to ensure accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive shopping experience

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or retail store environments with a focus on customer service excellence
• Familiarity with banking or financial services processes, including loan processing and collections
• Strong cash handling skills with experience managing cash drawers and performing cashier duties
• Ability to perform retail math accurately, including calculating totals, discounts, and change
• Competence in data entry and using financial software for transaction processing and record keeping
• Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members
• Basic math skills combined with attention to detail for processing transactions and balancing registers
