Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in technology sales, merchandising, and product demonstrations within a fast-paced retail environment. The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience while achieving sales goals and maintaining store standards.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of merchandise, especially technology-related items
• Provide knowledgeable assistance on product specifications, usage, and troubleshooting
• Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling and cross-selling products to maximize revenue
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and receipts
• Maintain organized merchandising displays aligned with company standards
• Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
• Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and inviting for customers
• Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably with technology products or merchandise demonstration skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical features clearly
• Bilingual abilities (English plus additional language) are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
• Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
• Demonstrated customer service excellence with phone etiquette and professional demeanor
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and engage customers effectively
• Organizational skills necessary for merchandising and maintaining store presentation standards
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings if required

Pay: $17.60-$28.17 per hour
