We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining store presentation. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries and selections.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales with strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.
• Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the store.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
