About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join the OWNDAYS team at SM City Bacoor in Bacoor City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading eyewear retailer. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales whilst maintaining the high standards OWNDAYS is known for. You will be the face of our brand, helping customers find the perfect eyewear solutions whilst creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding eyewear products that meet their needs and preferences
• Provide expert product knowledge about frames, lenses, and optical services to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle payments professionally
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by ensuring product displays are attractive, organised and well-stocked
• Perform stock management tasks, including inventory checks and restocking shelves
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the store's overall performance goals
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily store operations
• Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and standard operating procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in eyewear, fashion or luxury goods retail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Strong sales ability with a genuine interest in helping customers and achieving sales targets
• Product knowledge or willingness to learn quickly about eyewear and optical products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Attention to detail and organisational skills for stock management and visual merchandising
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
• Positive attitude, reliability and professional appearance
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
