Retail Job Description

1. Customer Service

• Greet customers as they enter the store
• Assist customers in finding products
• Answer questions about products, pricing, and promotions
• Handle complaints or direct them to supervisors

2. Sales Responsibilities

• Recommend products and upsell when appropriate
• Meet or exceed sales targets
• Process transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments

3. Product Knowledge

• Stay informed about product features and benefits
• Keep up with new arrivals, discounts, and store policies

4. Store Maintenance

• Ensure shelves are stocked and organized
• Arrange merchandise displays attractively
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the store

5. Inventory Support

• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
• Receive and unpack deliveries
• Report low stock or damaged items

6. Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with other staff and supervisors
• Follow company procedures and guidelines
• Attend training or team meetings

Qualification:

• Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Prior experience in retail, sales, or customer service is a plus
• Good communication skills
