Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate at The UPS Store is responsible for delivering world-class customer service to all customers. This includes providing expert advice and solutions for shipping, printing, packaging, and mailbox services. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with shipping, printing, packing, and mailbox services.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash and card transactions.
• Prepare shipments, print jobs, and packaging to The UPS Store standards.
• Maintain clean and organized store appearance.
• Monitor and manage inventory of store supplies and products.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and follow up with customer requests.
• Promote store services and upsell products when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all operational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, internet browsing).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, if needed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Notary Public commission is a plus, or willingness to become a Notary Public preferred.
