Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and promoting our products. You will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining an organized store environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries.
• Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage sales transactions accurately and handle cash effectively.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and promote special offers.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is essential.
• Strong understanding of retail math concepts to manage transactions accurately.
• Proven ability in upselling products and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective interaction with customers.
• Experience in product demonstrations is a plus, showcasing the ability to engage customers effectively.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
