About the role

We are seeking a Sales Clerk to join our team at our Antipolo City Rizal location on a full-time basis. As a Sales Clerk, you will play a vital role in our retail operations, serving as a key point of contact for our customers and contributing directly to our sales performance and customer satisfaction. This position is essential to maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail environment and ensuring every customer receives outstanding service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping experience
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash, card and other payment methods securely
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and provide expert recommendations to customers based on their needs
• Assist customers with product selection, customisation options and special orders
• Monitor and replenish stock levels, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively and in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming retail environment
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and courteously
• Support promotional activities and implement merchandising displays as directed
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve sales targets and operational goals
• Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in retail sales or a customer-facing role is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Strong numeracy skills and accuracy in handling cash and transactions
• Ability to work as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently
• Organised and detail-oriented approach to work
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing retail environments and customer demands
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to commit to scheduled working hours
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn point-of-sale systems quickly
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as required
