About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales professional to join PT. Meranti Adi Perkasa in Serpong, Banten. This is a full-time position where you will be at the forefront of our retail operations, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Sales professional, you will play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets, building customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our retail business. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on our company's growth whilst developing your career in the fast-paced retail and consumer products sector.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting customers and assisting them with product selection and purchases
• Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers to drive sales and customer satisfaction
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
• Maintaining knowledge of current products, promotions and pricing to provide accurate information to customers
• Achieving personal and team sales targets on a consistent basis
• Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail environment
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Supporting stock management activities including receiving, checking and displaying merchandise
• Building positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment, preferably in the consumer products sector
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Excellent numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and transactions
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Reliability and punctuality with a professional attitude towards work
• Flexibility to work retail hours, which may include evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm and passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous
