About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesman to join our sales team in Aceh. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in the region. As a Salesman, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our comprehensive range of home appliances and electronic products to both retail partners and end consumers. This role is essential to our business strategy and offers an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in sales within the competitive electronics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the Aceh region, including retail outlets, wholesalers, and direct consumer channels
• Present and demonstrate product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential customers in a compelling manner
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets whilst maintaining accurate sales records and reporting
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive activities
• Provide product training and support to retail partners and sales staff to enhance their selling capability
• Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to coordinate promotional activities and product launches
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts as required
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product specifications, pricing, and promotional offers

What we're looking for

• Proven sales experience in the electronics, home appliances, or consumer goods industry, ideally with 2-3 years in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented mindset with a positive attitude towards challenges
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to convert prospects into paying customers
• Local knowledge of the Aceh market or familiarity with the Indonesian market would be advantageous
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is highly desirable
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the region as required
• Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with sales management software is preferred
• A secondary school qualification or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or business are beneficial
