Johnson Lumber Ace Hardware has been serving the bay area since 1980. Johnson Lumber is a family owned and operated, full-service lumberyard and hardware store. We are seeking an inside contractor/lumber sales associate to join our team in Morgan Hill.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Providing in-person and over-the-phone sales.

• Assisting customers with building materials and solutions.

• Handling customer inquiries regarding product selection, quotes, special orders and deliveries.

• Use a Point-of-Sale system to create orders and collect payment.

• Communicate with vendors for product availability and pricing.

• Place Orders and create system PO’s.

• Answer phones and stock product when necessary.

• Build and maintain positive customer relationships by providing excellent customer service.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer and math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide common fractions)

• Effective time management and prioritization skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must pass a drug test and consent to a background check.
