Sales Consultant

About the role

This is a wide ranging and interesting position which will draw upon your sales and design skills. Our sales process consists of taking the client through our industry leading showroom, developing a design solution based on their specifications, then briefing the CAD design team. You will work with the client to make any necessary changes and troubleshoot technical considerations, then finally a site measure to ensure accuracy before the job goes into production. All of our wardrobes are built bespoke to exact client specifications, so you can be sure no two jobs will be the same. You will be working within complex renovation and build timelines and communicating with a wide range of people from builders and developers, to architects and designers, to homeowners and landlords from all walks of life.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients for design consultations in the showroom
• Develop design solutions based on client specifications
• Brief the CAD design team
• Work with clients to make necessary changes and troubleshoot technical considerations
• Conduct site measures to ensure accuracy before production
• Communicate with builders, developers, architects, designers, homeowners and landlords

About you

• Accuracy, attention to detail and technical capacity is essential
• Industry experience would be preferable
• Previous client sales experience
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
• An eye for spatial design
• A desire to go the extra mile for the client
• Current driver's license
• NZ resident or citizen, living in New Zealand
