Island Heat has 5 locally owned and established locations in Kalamazoo, Plainwell, and Battle Creek area and are now expanding to the Grand Rapids market. As a women founded and owned company their focus has always been to provide a luxurious, yet affordable tanning experience to each guest. Job Description: As a Sales Consultant at Island Heat, you’re one of the friendly faces that makes every guest feel welcomed, valued, and excited to come back.

You’ll create genuine connections with our guests, build long lasting relationships, and help each guest find the products, services, and memberships that best fit their needs.

You’ll bring positive energy and confidence to the salon every day while working toward sales goals and celebrating your wins along the way.

You'll create an unforgettable guest experience through the knowledge you gain and tours of the salon and featured equipment.

You’ll help keep our salon looking fresh and feeling welcoming so every guest has an amazing experience from the moment they walk through the door!

Job Requirements:

As a Sales Consultant at Island Heat you will be expected to perform daily responsibilities as well as provide outstanding customer service.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Projecting a positive image (through dress and personality) of our salon at all times.

• Providing customers with friendly customer service and a willingness to help them choose the services and products that best fit their needs.

• Giving Tours to New Clients

• Selling Memberships

• Remaining up-to-date in knowledge of Salon products and equipment

• Continual growth in knowledge of Smart Tanning

• Cleaning Salon Equipment and facilities

• Maintaining neat and organized font desk area

• Implementing the Guest Experience Program

• Promoting our Referral Program

• Uncovering needs through asking questions and being helpful

• Actively Seek to go above and beyond for guests whenever possible

• Opening/Closing of Salon

Job Hours: Part Time, 20-30 hrs/wk.
