Sales Consultant - Commission Only

About the role

Mam 1 is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop partnerships that generate ongoing bookings for our inspection services.

You’ll identify prospective business partners, introduce our services and turn initial conversations into lasting relationships. Success means securing the first booking, delivering a positive experience with our team, and earning repeat business.

This is a remote, commission-only contractor opportunity. You choose your own working hours, workload, and sales approach. Our operations team manages quotes, bookings, inspections, and reporting, allowing you to focus on building your network and generating business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective business partners across Melbourne.
• Make outbound calls to decision-makers and clearly communicate the value of our services.
• Understand each prospect’s requirements, address objections, and secure opportunities for inspection bookings.
• Follow up consistently and maintain an organized pipeline.
• Develop relationships that generate repeat referrals and long-term partnerships.
• Keep accurate records of contacts, follow-ups and referred business.
• Coordinate with our operations team to support a smooth experience for partners and their clients.

About you

You’re an experienced salesperson who is comfortable initiating conversations, asking for business, and following through. This is not an entry-level sales opportunity.

You’ll bring:

• Proven success in phone sales, outbound sales, or business development.
• Confidence in cold calling business owners and decision-makers.
• The ability to build rapport, handle objections, and ask for the close.
• Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner.
• Consistent follow-up and the ability to manage your own pipeline.
• An interest in professional networking and developing lasting relationships.
• Your own laptop, reliable internet and phone, and a quiet workspace.
• An ABN and the ability to operate as an independent contractor.

Experience in property or professional services, or an established business network, would be highly regarded.
