Sales Controller

Our client is seeking a proactive, analytical Sales Controller to oversee financial and commercial controlling across our sales organization. In this role, you will drive forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and margin analysis to deliver accurate insights that directly support executive commercial decision-making. You will work closely with regional Sales Directors and manufacturing sites within established governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial FP&A & Forecasting: Consolidate ROFO, MBR, and S&OP financial inputs. Prepare sales/order intake reporting, landing analysis, annual budgets, and variance/margin/cost projections.
• Commercial Controlling: Evaluate quotation financial analysis, business cases, pricing, customer/product profitability, and cash generation. Manage agent commissions and commercial contract accruals.
• Reporting, Data & Automation: Maintain commercial KPIs, Power BI dashboards, and ERP/CRM data integrity. Drive process automation, leveraging modern AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with regional Sales Directors to challenge bottom-up assumptions, monitor market/competitor dynamics, and guide strategy with clear data.
• Governance & Ways of Working: Execute recurring operational activities aligned with Commercial Management standards while building high autonomy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Management, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• At least  3+ years of relevant experience in financial controlling or commercial FP&A with a proven record of operating independently.
• Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems, advanced reporting tools (Power BI), and financial modeling (margin and profitability mechanics).
• Strong enthusiasm for process automation. Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical capabilities, fluency in English, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills in an international environment.
