Sales Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and coordinate with the sales and technical teams to understand requirements.

• Prepare accurate quotations, proforma invoices and other sales-related documents.

• Process and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring pricing, terms and specifications are aligned with quotations.

• Coordinate with production, engineering and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are technically feasible and accurately executed.

• Manage order status, lead times, delivery schedules and dispatch coordination, while keeping customers informed.

• Maintain and update customer, quotation, order and sales records in CRM/ERP systems.

• Identify and proactively resolve discrepancies in orders, documentation or delivery schedules.

• Assist the sales team with lead follow-ups, reporting and day-to-day sales coordination.

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; relevant ITI candidates may also be considered.

• 1-2 years of experience in sales coordination, inside sales, customer service or sales support

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word; familiarity with CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in quotations, POs and customer documentation.
