SALES COORDINATOR

About the role

Zhongda Shelf & Rack Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and organised Sales Coordinator to join our growing team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Johor location. As Sales Coordinator, you will be the vital link between our sales team, customers, and internal departments, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. This role is instrumental in supporting our sales objectives and maintaining strong client relationships that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and manage sales inquiries, quotations, and proposals from initial contact through to contract finalisation
• Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems with accurate information to support effective sales tracking
• Prepare and process sales orders, invoices, and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Liaise between customers, sales representatives, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and order fulfilment
• Schedule meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations for the sales team and prospective clients
• Monitor sales pipeline and provide administrative support to track progress against targets
• Handle customer inquiries regarding product specifications, delivery timelines, and pricing
• Assist in organising sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities
• Maintain organised filing systems and documentation for all sales-related matters
• Support the development of sales presentations and marketing materials as required

What we're looking for

• Secondary education qualification (SPM) or equivalent; a diploma in business administration, marketing, or related field is preferred
• Proven experience working in a sales support, administrative, or co-ordination role, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or retail environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems or database management
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Customer-focused mindset with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take on new responsibilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs
