Sales Coordinator

About the role

This role involves managing customer orders from receipt through fulfillment, coordinating across multiple teams, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will serve as a key point of contact for order processing, customer inquiries, and shipping coordination, while identifying opportunities to improve operational workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review customer orders submitted via various channels (e.g., online, email, phone)
• Verify order accuracy, including product details, pricing, and shipping information
• Enter orders into the system accurately and promptly, ensuring adherence to established procedures
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve any order discrepancies or issues
• Monitor inventory levels and stock availability to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts or audits
• Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly labeled and packaged securely
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping updates, and product availability
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve order processing and fulfillment workflows

About you

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in order processing, fulfillment, or customer service roles preferred
• Proficiency in computer applications, including order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to learn and contribute to process improvement
