Sales Coordinator (Freight Forwarding) – Key Account Support

We are looking for an experienced Sales Coordinator (Freight Forwarding) – Commercial Sales Support to support the commercial sales team in managing key customer accounts.

In this role, you will work closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to coordinate customer requirements, prepare freight quotations, manage quotation follow-ups, handle customer enquiries and coordinate with internal teams and overseas offices to ensure timely and effective customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Key Account Managers (KAMs) in managing assigned customer accounts and commercial activities.
• Prepare freight quotations and mini-RFQs by coordinating with overseas offices, internal pricing teams and tariff tools to obtain competitive rates.
• Maintain accurate customer quotation and account records in accordance with internal requirements.
• Support customer onboarding, including coordination of credit applications (eCAF).
• Handle customer enquiries and follow up on quotations to maximize business opportunities.
• Escalate customer or service-related issues to the relevant stakeholders when required.
• Coordinate with internal departments and overseas offices to ensure timely responses to customer requests.
• Identify recurring customer service issues and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders for process improvement.
• Maintain and update Customer SOPs to ensure compliance with validated procedures.
• Prepare customer reports and assist KAMs with business review meetings, presentation materials and follow-up actions.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, sales support or customer service.
• Hands-on experience in freight forwarding quotations and customer service is required.
• Strong understanding of commercial coordination and customer account support.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a diverse working environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Experience using CargoWise or other logistics systems will be an advantage.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
