Sales Coordinator - Remodeling

Job Overview

DePalma Construction & Remodeling is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to support residential remodeling projects from the early planning and estimating stages through selections, ordering, scheduling, and construction.

This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys residential construction, is comfortable working directly with homeowners, and can keep multiple project details organized at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of residential kitchen, bathroom, addition, and general remodeling projects
• Communicate with homeowners regarding project details, selections, scheduling, and outstanding decisions.
• Help guide customers through material and finish selections
• Help the owner prepare and update estimates, proposals, change orders, and project information
• Enter and maintain project information in JobTread
• Coordinate product specifications, pricing, ordering, and delivery information
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing, availability, and product information
• Track customer selections including cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, plumbing
• Keep customers updated through the project timeline.
• Help identify outstanding decisions or information needed to keep projects moving
• Support the owner and field team with project information and administrative coordination

Qualifications

• Experience in residential remodeling, construction, building materials, kitchen and bath design, or a related field
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Comfortable communicating with homeowners, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable learning construction products, terminology, and processes
• Experience with estimating, purchasing, order entry, or project coordination is preferred
• Experience with JobTread or another construction-management platform is a plus
• Kitchen and bath product knowledge is a plus but not required for the right candidate

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable asking questions, and able to recognize when information or decisions are still needed on a project. They should enjoy both the customer-facing and behind-the-scenes sides of remodeling and be interested in continuing to learn about residential construction and design.

This position requires someone who can work independently while also communicating closely with the owner, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
