Sales Development Rep / Sales Assistant

Clarity Consulting is a boutique Salesforce consulting firm in Portland. We help growing companies clean up their CRM, build systems their teams actually trust, and get ready for what's next. We're a small, senior team and every hire matters.

We're hiring a Sales Development Rep to help us find and close new business, with some support for our Managing Partner on day to day sales operations. This is a high-visibility role with real room to grow. Someone who does this well can be running their own book of business within two years.

What you'll do

• Source and qualify new leads through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
• Book discovery meetings for our sales team with companies that fit our target profile
• Support our Managing Partner with sales operations: scheduling, CRM hygiene, follow ups, and deal tracking in Salesforce
• Help manage relationships with Salesforce Account Executive partners, who send us the majority of our referral business
• Track and report on outreach activity and pipeline progress

What we're looking for

• Strong phone and written communication skills. You're comfortable picking up the phone and you write clearly
• A self-starter who takes ownership without needing constant direction
• Prior sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (internships count)
• A business, communications, or related degree, or equivalent experience
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Portland, OR area
• Comfortable in a fast-moving small company where responsibilities shift as we grow

Compensation

• $20/hour base pay
• $100 bonus for every lead you source that closes into a signed deal
• Clear path to increased pay and responsibility as you build a track record
